Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER
a. Using SST, remove the fuel pressure pulsation damper and 2 gaskets, and disconnect the fuel tube from the fuel pump.

INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER
a. Using SST, install 2 new gaskets, the fuel tube and pulsation damper to the fuel pump.

Torque: 40 N.m(408 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf)
HINT: The torque shown should be used for tightening without using SST. When the SST is used for tightening, the torque should be calculated based on the length of the SST.
2. INSTALL V-BANK COVER
3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.
HINT: Certain systems need to be initialized after reconnecting the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
