Removal and Installation

Headlight Assembly:

HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for HID Headlight)
2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
a. Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips.
b. Disengage the nut and remove the engine room side cover.

6. REMOVE FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR
a. Disengage the 2 claws and 3 clips and remove the front upper fender protector.

7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connector as shown in the illustration.

b. Remove the 3 bolts.
c. Disengage the headlight bracket pin and remove the headlight assembly.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY
a. Install the headlight assembly with the headlight bracket pin.
b. Install the 3 bolts.
c. Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL FRONT UPPER FENDER PROTECTOR
a. Install the front upper fender protector with the 2 claws and 3 clips.

3. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
a. Install the engine room side cover with the nut.
b. Install the 4 clips.

4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER
5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY
6. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for HID Headlight)
8. VEHICLE PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIM ADJUSTMENT
9. PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIMING (Using a tester)
10. PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIMING (Using a screen)
11. HEADLIGHT AIMING INSPECTION
12. HEADLIGHT AIMING ADJUSTMENT

13. PERFORM INITIALIZATION (for HID Headlight)
Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.
