FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (For Manual Seat)

Front Seat Assembly (For Manual Seat):

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB (for Driver Seat)

a. Remove the snap ring and the vertical seat adjuster knob.

2. REMOVE VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB CAP (for Driver Seat)

a. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and remove the vertical seat adjuster knob cap.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

3. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Driver Seat)

a. Remove the 2 screws and vertical adjusting handle.

4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

a. Lift the reclining adjuster release handle.
b. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Seat)

a. Remove the screw.
b. Disengage the claw and clamp and remove the seat cushion shield.

6. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

a. Remove the screw.
b. Disengage the 2 claws and clip then remove the front inner seat cushion shield.

8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

a. Disengage the 2 hooks.

b. Disengage the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad.

9. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR (for Front Passenger Side)

a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Detach the connector clamp.

NOTICE: Do not bend the pressure hose.

c. Remove the 2 clips and the sensor.

10. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)

a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and ECU.

11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

a. Remove the hog rings.

b. Remove the hog rings and front seat cushion cover.

12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

a. Cut off the tack pins that fasten the seat heater, and then remove the front seat cushion heater assembly from the seat cushion cover.

13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

a. Open the 2 zippers and seatback cover.

b. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front seat headrest support.

14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
15. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

a. Remove the hog rings and disengage the hooks.

b. Remove the nut and separate the bracket.
c. Remove the front seatback cover with pad.

16. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK COVER

a. Remove the hog rings and front separate type seat back cover.

17. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

a. Cut off the tack pins that fasten the seat heater, and then remove the front seat cushion heater assembly from the seat cushion cover.

18. REMOVE SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

a. Remove the screw.
b. Disengage the claw and remove the seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

19. REMOVE SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

HINT: Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

20. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

a. Remove the screw and reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

21. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

HINT: Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

22. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

a. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

23. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

HINT: Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

24. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Seat)
25. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTER SPACER (for Driver Seat)

a. Disengage the clip and remove the vertical adjuster spacer.

26. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR

a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Detach the claw and remove the seat position sensor protector.
c. Using a T30 "torx" socket, remove the "torx" bolt and seat position sensor.

REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTER SPACER

a. Engage the clip and install the vertical adjuster spacer.

2. INSTALL SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side)
3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LOWER LH

a. Engage the claw and install the seat cushion shield lower LH.

4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LOWER RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

5. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

a. Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.

6. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

7. INSTALL SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

a. Engage the claw.
b. Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.

8. INSTALL SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

9. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

a. Using a tacker, install the front seatback heater to the end of the seat cover with the tack pins.

10. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK CUSHION COVER

a. Using hog ring pliers, install the front seatback cover to the front seatback pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

11. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD
12. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

a. Engage the 4 claws and install the front seat headrest support assemblies.

13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

a. Using a tacker, install the front seat cushion heater to the end of the seat cover with the tack pins.

14. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

a. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.

NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

b. Using hog ring pliers, install the front seat cushion cover with new hog rings.

NOTICE:

15. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)

a. Install the ECU with the 2 bolts.
b. Connect the connector.

16. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR (for Front Passenger Side)

a. Install the sensor with the 2 clips.

b. Connect the connector.
c. Attach the connector clamp.

NOTICE: Do not bend the pressure hose.

17. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

a. Install the hooks and front seat cushion cover with pad.

18. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

a. Engage the 2 claws and clip.
b. Install the front seat inner cushion shield with the screw.

19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY
20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Seat)

a. Engage the claw and clip.
b. Install the front seat cushion shield with the screw.

21. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

a. Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle.

22. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Driver Seat)

a. Install the vertical adjusting handle with the 2 screws.

23. INSTALL VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB CAP (for Driver Seat)

a. Engage the 3 claws and install the vertical seat adjuster knob cap.

24. INSTALL VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB (for Driver Seat)
