OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR

Outer Rear View Mirror:

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG
2. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP
6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM COVER
7. REMOVE DOOR FRAME GARNISH
8. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU (w/ Memory)
9. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR PROTECTOR





a. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the connector.





b. Remove the outer mirror protector.

HINT: Remove the remaining tape on the door.

10. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY





a. Remove the 3 nuts.





b. Disengage the clamp and remove the outer rear view mirror assembly.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY





a. Engage the clamp to install the outer rear view mirror assembly.





b. Install the outer rear view mirror assembly with the 3 nuts.

Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf)

2. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR PROTECTOR
a. Apply butyl tape.





b. Install a new outer mirror protector.





c. Connect the connector and engage the clamp.

3. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU (w/ Memory)
4. INSTALL DOOR FRAME GARNISH
5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM COVER
6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP
7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
8. INSTALL COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY
9. INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
10. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG
11. INITIALIZE POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM
