Scuff Plate: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION




1. INSPECT SCUFF PLATE LIGHT
a. Disconnect the connector from the scuff plate light.







b. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table given.

If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.




c. Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the (-) lead to terminal 1.
d. Check that the scuff plate light comes on.

OK: Comes on

If the result is not as specified, replace the scuff plate.
