NAVIGATION ECU

REMOVAL

1. EJECT MAP DISC
a. Turn the engine switch on (ACC).




b. Apply protective tape to the places shown in the illustration.




c. Insert 2 precision screwdrivers (dia 1.5 or less) into the holes on both sides of the clock assembly at the angle shown in the illustration.

NOTE: Do not pry on the clock assembly with the screwdrivers as it may damage the clock assembly.

HINT: If precision screwdrivers are not available, use in-vehicle tools (part No. 09135-53010).




d. Insert a protective taped screwdriver from the underside of the hazard switch and pull and remove the clock assembly.

NOTE:
- Do not pry on the hazard switch with the screwdriver as it may damage the switch.

e. Remove the 2 precision screwdrivers.
f. Push the "MENU" button.
g. Touch "Map DVD" on the navigation screen.
h. Touch "EJECT DVD" on the navigation screen to eject the map disc.
i. Temporarily reinstall the clock assembly to make the removal of the multi-display assembly easier.

NOTE: Do not install the clock assembly completely because it will be removed later.

j. Turn the engine switch off.

2. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)
3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
4. REMOVE UPPER NO.1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission)
5. REMOVE UPPER NO.2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission)
6. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)
7. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
8. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
9. REMOVE FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
10. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY
11. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX
12. REMOVE NO.3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
13. REMOVE CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
14. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
15. REMOVE NO.1 RADIO BRACKET
16. REMOVE NO.2 RADIO BRACKET




17. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
a. Slide the multi-display in the direction shown by the arrow to remove the multi-display assembly.




18. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU
a. Disconnect the connectors.




b. Remove the 4 bolts and navigation ECU.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL NAVIGATION ECU
a. Install the navigation ECU with the 4 bolts.




b. Connect the connectors.

2. INSTALL MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
3. INSTALL NO.2 RADIO BRACKET
4. INSTALL NO.1 RADIO BRACKET
5. INSTALL MULTI-DISPLAY WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
6. INSTALL CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANE
7. INSTALL NO.3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
8. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX
9. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY
10. INSTALL FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
11. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
12. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
13. INSTALL CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)
14. INSTALL UPPER NO.2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission)
15. INSTALL UPPER NO.1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission)
16. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
17. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)




18. INSERT MAP DISC
a. Remove the clock assembly
b. Turn the engine switch on (ACC).
c. Insert the map disc.




d. Check that the wire harness is in the position shown in the illustration.




e. Install the clock assembly.

19. ADJUST CLOCK
