Heater Glow Plug:

HEATER GLOW PLUG

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE HEATER WATER OUTLET HOSE
2. REMOVE HEATER WATER INLET HOSE




3. REMOVE WATER BY-PASS GLOW PLUG
a. Remove the 2 grommets, 2 nuts, 2 spring washers, and 2 washers. Disconnect the heater blower wire.




b. Remove the water by-pass glow plug.

NOTE: Prepare a container or a piece of cloth in case of coolant leakage.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL WATER BY-PASS GLOW PLUG
a. Install the water by-pass glow plug.

Torque: 15 N.m (157 kgf.cm, 11 ft.lbf)




b. Install the heater blower wire with the 2 nuts and 2 grommets.

Torque: 2.7 N.m (28 kgf.cm, 24 in.lbf)

2. INSTALL HEATER WATER INLET HOSE
3. INSTALL HEATER WATER OUTLET HOSE
4. ADD ENGINE COOLANT
5. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS
