HEADLIGHT CLEANER ACTUATOR
REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for both the RH and LH sides.
- The procedures listed are for the LH side.
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER
4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH
5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH
6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY
8. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUBASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 screws and headlight washer actuator.
9. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE
a. Disconnect the hose from the headlight cleaner motor and pump.
b. Using a screwdriver, detach the 5 clamps and remove the hose.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
INSTALLATION

- Use the same procedures for both the RH and LH sides.
- The procedures listed are for the LH side.
1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE
a. Attach the 5 clamps and install the hose to the front bumper reinforcement.
b. Connect the hose to the headlight cleaner motor and pump.
2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUBASSEMBLY
a. Install the headlight washer actuator to the headlight with the 2 screws.
3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER
5. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH
6. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RH
7. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER
8. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
a. Perform initialization.
