ULTRASONIC SENSOR

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER
4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH
5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH
6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

7. REMOVE NO. 3 ULTRASONIC SENSOR




a. Disconnect the sensor connector.




b. Remove the sensor from the sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.
c. Remove the sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.

8. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 BUMPER PLATE
9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER




10. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR
a. Disconnect the sensor connector.
b. Remove the sensor retainer.
c. Remove the sensor from the rear bumper.




11. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR
a. Disconnect the sensor connector.
b. Remove the sensor retainer.
c. Remove the sensor from the rear bumper.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR
a. Install the sensor to the rear bumper.
b. Install the sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.
c. Connect the sensor connector.




2. INSTALL NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR
a. Install the sensor to the rear bumper.
b. Install the sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.
c. Connect the sensor connector.

3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER
4. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 BUMPER PLATE




5. INSTALL NO. 3 ULTRASONIC SENSOR
a. Install the sensor retainer to the front bumper.




b. Install the sensor as shown in the illustration.
c. Connect the sensor connector.

6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER
7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH
8. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RH
9. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER
10. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

12. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization. Testing and Inspection

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
