INTRODUCTION:

The front seat "Seat Belt Anchor Cover Cap" and "Seat Cushion Shield" have been modified in production. As a result of these changes new removal and replacement procedures have been developed for these components.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2007 model year GS 350 and 2007 model year GS 430 vehicles produced AFTER the Production Change Effective VIN shown below.

REMOVAL PROCEDURE:






1. Disconnect the front seat outer belt assembly.
A. Detach the 6 claws and remove the seat belt anchor cover cap.
B. Move the seat using the power seat switch knob so that the seat belt anchor bolt is revealed.
C. Remove the bolt and front seat outer belt anchor.
D. Disconnect the connector.






2. Remove the front seat cushion shield with No. 1 cushion shield inner.
A. Disconnect the 2 rubber bands of the front seatback board from the front seat frame.
B. Disconnect the connector from the No. 1 interior illumination light assembly.






C. Remove the 7 screws.
D. Detach the claw and remove the cushion shield (with No. 1 cushion shield inner) in the order indicated in the illustration.
E. Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch.

3. Assembly is reverse of disassembly.
