TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU

REPLACEMENT
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
(a) Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
2. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

HINT:
Refer to the instructions for removal of the radio receiver assembly.

3. REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR ECU
(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts and tire pressure monitor ECU.





4. INSTALL TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR ECU
(a) Install the tire pressure monitor ECU with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 4.5 N*m (46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf)
(b) Connect the connector.
5. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

HINT:
Refer to the instructions for installation of the radio receiver assembly.

6. CONNECT THE CABLE TO THE NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
7. REGISTRATION OF TRANSMITTER ID
8. INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM
SST 09843-18040
9. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.
