HOOD SUPPORT ROD

Hood Support Rod:

REMOVAL

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE HOOD SUPPORT ROD





a. Using a screwdriver, remove the clip and support from the hood side.

HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Remove the support while supporting the hood with your hands.

b. Using a screwdriver, remove the clip and support from the vehicle body side.

HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Remove the support while supporting the hood with your hands.





c. Remove the 2 bolts and hood support.

HINT: Remove the hood support while supporting the hood panel with your hands.

INSTALLATION

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL HOOD SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
a. Install the 2 clips to the support.
b. Install the support.
