Applicability

Introduction

Some 2007 model year ES 350 vehicles may exhibit a condition where the idle fluctuates with the Air Conditioner ON. The Air Conditioner Compressor has been updated to improve this condition.

Warranty Information

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

^ This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

^ Warranty application is limited to occurrence of the specified condition described in this bulletin.

Repair Procedure

1. Verify the idle fluctuation only occurs with the A/C ON. If the idle continues to fluctuate with the A/C OFF this TSIB does not apply.

Note

If the idle fluctuation continues with the Air Conditioner OFF this TSIB does not apply.

2. Remove the A/C Compressor.

Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS) 2007 ES 350 Repair Manual.

3. Install the updated A/C Compressor.

4. Verify proper A/C system operation.
