Length: 20 mm (0.79 inch)
Width: 10 mm (0.40 inch)
Thickness: 0.5 mm (0.20 inch) (thinnest sheet felt in the interior noise kit)

c. Stick the felt down, following the contours of the plastic base.
d. Bend the metal mesh tab down.
e. Repeat on each metal mesh tab.
C. Add felt to top of the defroster duct. Cut twelve pieces of 1 mm thick felt from the interior noise kit to the following dimensions:
Length: 20 mm (0.79 inch)
Width: 12 mm (0.48 inch)
Thickness: 1 mm (0.04 inch)
(1) Remove the center defroster duct by removing the 5 screws.
(2) Turn the defroster duct over to insulate the duct to instrument panel interface.
(3) Add felt to top of the defroster duct as shown.
CAUTION:
Make sure that the felt does not obstruct the air flow.
D. Replace the 3 stays and 2 clips with new improved parts.
E. Add felt to shifter trim. Cut two pieces of 0.5 mm (0.02 in.) thick felt from the Interior Noise Kit to the following dimensions:
Length: 23 mm (0.91 in.)

Thickness: 0.5 mm (0.02 in.)
Place the felt over the ribs that stick up perpendicular to the locking tab as shown.
Apply felt to the two outer clips ONLY.
