Front Center Speaker

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT FRONT CENTER SPEAKER

HINT: Remove interior parts so that the front center speaker can be seen.

a. Check the speaker installation.

OK: The speaker is securely installed.

If the result is not as specified, reinstall the front center speaker.

b. Visually check the speaker.

OK: The cone paper of the speaker is not torn.

If the result is not as specified, replace the front center speaker.

c. Speaker resistance check
1. Disconnect the front center speaker connector.
2. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the speaker.

Standard resistance: 7 to 9 Ohm

If the result is not as specified, replace the front center speaker.
