Procedures

MANUAL OPEN OPERATION

HINT:
- The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order. However, only installation procedures requiring additional information are included.
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedure listed below are for the RH side.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH
8. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT RH




9. MANUALLY OPEN QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY RH
a. Disconnect the power window regulator motor connector.
b. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 2 of the connector, and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1. Then open the quarter window.

HINT: On the LH side, connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal(1) and the negative (-) lead to terminal (2)

10. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT RH
11. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH
12. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf).

13. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf).

14. INSTALL WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY

Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf).

MANUAL CLOSE OPERATION

HINT:

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER
3. REMOVE WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH
8. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT RH




9. MANUALLY CLOSE QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY RH
a. Disconnect the power window regulator motor connector.
b. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 1 of the connector, and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2 Then close the quarter window.

HINT: On the LH side, connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal (2)and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1.

10. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT RH
11. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH
12. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

Torque: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf).

13. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf).

14. INSTALL WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY

Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf).
