SRS Warning Lamp Circuit Malfunction (Does Not Illuminate When Ignition Switch Is Turned ON)
SRS WARNING LAMP CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION (DOES NOT ILLUMINATE WHEN IGNITION SWITCH IS TURNED ON)CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The SRS warning lamp is located on the combination meter. When the SRS is normal, the SRS warning lamp illuminates for approximately 6 seconds after the ignition switch is turned from OFF to ON, and then turns off automatically. If there is a malfunction in the SRS, the SRS warning lamp illuminates to inform the driver of a problem. The SRS warning lamp signal is transmitted through BEAN to each ECU, including the airbag sensor center.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
CAUTION: Be sure to perform the following procedures before troubleshooting to avoid unexpected airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
a. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
b. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
c. Disconnect the connectors from the airbag sensor center.
d. Disconnect the connector from the horn button.
e. Disconnect the connector from the front passenger airbag.
f. Disconnect the connector from the side squib LH.
g. Disconnect the connector from the side squib RH.
h. Disconnect the connector from the front seat outer belt LH.
i. Disconnect the connector from the front seat outer belt RH.
