POWER POINT SOCKET ASSEMBLY

REPLACEMENT

HINT:
- The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order. However, only installation procedures requiring additional information are included.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH REAR
3. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER




4. REMOVE POWER POINT SOCKET ASSEMBLY
a. Pull the claw of the socket in the direction of the arrow, push the socket toward the inside of the chamber and remove it.

5. REMOVE POWER POINT SOCKET COVER
a. Remove the cover from the console box.

6. INSTALL POWER POINT SOCKET ASSEMBLY
a. Align the claw of the socket with the cutout of the cover and fully push it in to install.

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
8. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
