INSPECTION




1. INSPECT FUSE (HORN)
a. Measure the resistance of the HORN fuse.

Standard: Below 1 Ohm

If the result is not as specified, replace the fuse.







2. INSPECT HORN RELAY (Marking: HORN)
a. Remove the HORN relay from the engine room No. 2 R/B.
b. Measure the resistance of the relay.
If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.







3. INSPECT LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY
a. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the horn.
OK:
If the result is not as specified, replace the horn assembly.







4. INSPECT HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY
a. Apply battery voltage and check operation of the horn.
OK:
If the result is not as specified, replace the horn assembly.
