DTC C2117/17 TRANSMITTER ID2 NOT RECEIVED

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detection Condition:

The tire pressure monitor valve constantly sends radio waves to the tire pressure antenna. If the battery for the tire pressure monitor valve is depleted, or if the tire pressure antenna is defective or comes off, the DTC will be output. The DTC will be erased if the tire pressure antenna receives the radio waves sent from the tire pressure monitor valve again under any conditions.

HINT: Because the pressure monitor valve and tire pressure antenna cannot be identified by a DTC, it is necessary to identify it through other methods.

HINT: Correct the tire inflation pressure and inspect it while the DTC is being output.
