Steering Knuckle LH Replacement

STEERING KNUCKLE LH
REPLACEMENT
1. REMOVE FRONT WHEELS
2. REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH
3. REMOVE FRONT DISC





4. SEPARATE SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
a. Remove the bolt and separate the speed sensor from the steering knuckle.
b. Disconnect the connector.
5. REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
6. REMOVE STEERING KNUCKLE LH





a. Remove the upper side of the clip and nut.
b. Using SST, remove the steering knuckle LH from the up per suspension arm.
SST 09628-62011





c. Remove the 2 bolts and steering knuckle from the lower ball joint.





7. INSTALL STEERING KNUCKLE LH
a. Install the steering knuckle LH to the lower ball joint with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 113 Nm (1,150 kgf-cm, 83 ft. lbs.)
b. Install the steering knuckle LH to the upper suspension arm with a nut and clip.
Torque: 87 Nm (887 kgf-cm, 64 ft. lbs.)
8. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





9. INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
a. Install the speed sensor with the bolt.
b. Connect the connector.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 inch lbs.)
10. INSTALL FRONT DISC
11. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH
12. INSTALL FRONT WHEELS
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.)
13. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
14. CHECK ABS SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
