License Plate Lamp: Service and Repair

LICENSE PLATE LAMP LENS

REPLACEMENT

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- Install is in the reverse order of removal.

1. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM COVER
2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY OUTSIDE




3. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LAMP ASSEMBLY
a. Release the 2 claw fittings and disconnect the license plate lamp assembly as shown in the illustration.
b. Disconnect the connector and remove the license plate lamp assembly.

4. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LAMP BULB
a. Remove the license plate lamp bulb, the license plate lamp socket and wire.
b. Remove the license plate lamp bulb from the license plate lamp socket and wire.

5. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LAMP SOCKET AND WIRE
6. REMOVE LICENSE PLATE LAMP LENS
