INSPECTION
1. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL1

Shift Solenoid Valve SL1:

a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.

Standard Resistance:

b) Connect the positive (+) lead with a 21 W bulb to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1 of the solenoid valve connector, then check the operation of the valve.
OK: The solenoid makes an operating sound. If the resistance is not within the specified range, replace the shift solenoid valve SL1.

2. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE S1

Shift Solenoid Valve S1:

a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.

Standard Resistance:

b) Connect the positive (+) lead to the terminal of the solenoid connector, and the negative (-) lead to the solenoid body, then check the operation of the valve.
OK: The solenoid makes an operating sound.
If the resistance is not within the specified range, replace the shift solenoid valve S1.

3. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE S2

Shift Solenoid Valve S2:

a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.

Standard Resistance:

b) Connect the positive (+) lead to the terminal of the solenoid connector, and the negative (-) lead to the solenoid body.
OK: The solenoid makes an operating noise.
If the resistance is not within the specified range, replace the shift solenoid valve S2.

4. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE S3

Shift Solenoid Valve S3:

a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.

Standard Resistance:

b) Connect the positive (+) lead to the terminal of the solenoid connector, and the negative (-) lead to the solenoid body, then check the operation of the valve.
OK: The solenoid makes an operating sound.
If the resistance is not within the specified range, replace the shift solenoid valve S3.

5. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE S4

Shift Solenoid Valve S4:

a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.

Standard Resistance:

b) Connect the positive (+) lead to the terminal of the solenoid connector, and the negative (-) lead to the solenoid body.
OK: The solenoid makes an operating sound.
If the resistance is not within the specified range, replace the shift solenoid valve S4.

6. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SL2

Shift Solenoid Valve SL2:

a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.

Standard Resistance:

b) Connect the positive (+) lead with a 21 W bulb to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1 of the solenoid valve connector, then check the operation of the valve. OK:
The solenoid makes an operating sound. If the resistance is not within the specified range, replace the shift solenoid valve SL2.

7. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SR

Shift Solenoid Valve SR:

a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.

Standard Resistance:

b) Connect the positive (+) lead to the terminal of the solenoid valve connector, and the negative (-) lead to the solenoid body, then check the operation of the valve.
OK: The solenoid makes an operating sound.
If the resistance is not within the specified range, replace the shift solenoid valve SR.

8. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLT

Shift Solenoid Valve SLT:

a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.

Standard Resistance:

b) Connect the positive (+) lead with a 21 W bulb to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1 of the solenoid valve connector, then check the operation of the valve.
OK: The solenoid makes an operating sound. If the resistance is not within the specified range, replace the shift solenoid valve SLT.

9. INSPECT SHIFT SOLENOID VALVE SLU

Shift Solenoid Valve SLU:

a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.

Standard Resistance:

b) Connect the positive (+) lead with a 21 W bulb to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1 of the solenoid valve connector, then check the operation of the valve.
OK: The solenoid makes an operating sound.
If the resistance is not within the specified range, replace the shift solenoid valve SLU.
