Rear Side Speaker
ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION1. INSPECT REAR SPEAKER (w/ Front Center Speaker)
HINT: Remove interior parts so that the rear speaker can be seen.
a. Check the speaker installation.
OK:
The speaker is securely installed.
If the result is not as specified, reinstall the rear speaker.
b. Visually check the speaker.
OK:
The cone paper of the speaker is not torn.
If the result is not as specified, replace the rear speaker.
2. INSPECT REAR SPEAKER (w/o Front Center Speaker)
HINT: Remove interior parts so that the rear speaker can be seen.
a. Check the speaker installation.
OK:
The speaker is securely installed.
If the result is not as specified, reinstall the rear speaker.
b. Visually check the speaker.
OK:
The cone paper of the speaker is not torn.
If the result is not as specified, replace the rear speaker.
c. Speaker resistance check
1. Disconnect the rear speaker connector.
2. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the speaker.
Standard resistance: Approximately 4 Ohms
If the result is not as specified, replace the rear speaker.
3. INSPECT REAR NO.2 SPEAKER
HINT: Remove interior parts so that the rear No.2 speaker can be seen.
a. Check the speaker installation.
OK:
The speaker is securely installed.
If the result is not as specified, reinstall the rear No.2 speaker.
b. Visually check the speaker.
OK:
The cone paper of the speaker is not torn.
If the result is not as specified, replace the rear No.2 speaker.
4. INSPECT REAR NO.3 SPEAKER (w/o Front Center Speaker)
HINT: Remove interior parts so that the rear No.3 speaker can be seen.
a. Check the speaker installation.
OK:
The speaker is securely installed.
If the result is not as specified, reinstall the rear No.3 speaker.
b. Visually check the speaker.
OK:
The cone paper of the speaker is not torn.
If the result is not as specified, replace the rear No.3 speaker.
