Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

SKID CONTROL ECU (w/VDIM)

COMPONENTS:

REMOVAL
1. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE SKID CONTROL ECU





a. Disconnect the 3 connectors from the skid control ECU.





b. Remove the 3 screws and skid control ECU.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SKID CONTROL ECU





a. Install the skid control ECU with the 3 screws.
Torque: 4.8 Nm (49 kgf-cm, 42 inch lbs.)

HINT:
^ Align positioning boss (A) of the blower assembly with the hole of the skid control ECU.
^ Securely engage the hook (B) of the skid control ECU with the blower assembly.





b. Connect the 3 connectors to the skid control ECU.
2. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
3. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC
