Door Lamp: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT




a. Disconnect the connector from the door courtesy light.







b. Measure the voltage of the connector.

If the result is not as specified, repair or replace wire harness or connector.




c. Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the (-) lead to terminal 1.
d. Check that the door courtesy light comes on.
OK: Comes on

If the result is not as specified, replace the door courtesy light.
