Clock: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

NOTE: When disassembling the clock assembly, eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent the components from being damaged.

1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)
2. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
3. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission)
4. REMOVE UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission)
5. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission
6. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
7. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
8. REMOVE FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
9. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY
10. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX
11. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
12. REMOVE CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
13. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL PANEL WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (W/o Navigation System)
14. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (W/o Navigation System)
15. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (W/o Navigation System)
16. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (W/o Navigation System)




17. REMOVE CLOCK ASSEMBLY (W/o Navigation System)
a. Remove the 6 screws.




b. Disengage the 5 claws and integration control panel.




c. Remove the 9 screws and cover.




d. Disconnect the connectors.
e. Remove the clock assembly.

18. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY (W/ Navigation System)
19. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (W/ Navigation System)
20. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (W/ Navigation System)
21. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (W/ Navigation System)




22. REMOVE CLOCK ASSEMBLY (W/ Navigation System)
a. Apply protective tape to the places shown in the illustration.




b. Insert 2 precision screwdrivers (1.5 or less) into the holes on both sides of the clock assembly at the angle as shown in the illustration.

NOTE: Do not pry on the clock assembly with the screwdrivers as it may damage the clock assembly.

HINT: If precision screwdrivers are not available, use in vehicle tools (part No. 09135-53010).




c. Insert a screwdriver with its tip taped from the underside of the hazard switch, and pull and remove the clock assembly.

NOTE: Do not pry on the hazard switch with the screwdriver as it may damage the switch.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL CLOCK ASSEMBLY W/o Navigation System)
a. Connect the connector.




b. Install the cover with the 9 screws.




c. Engage the 5 claws.




d. Install the install the integration control panel with 6 screws.

2. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (W/o Navigation System)
3. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (W/o Navigation System)
4. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (W/o Navigation System)
5. INSTALL INTEGRATION CONTROL PANEL WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (W/o Navigation System)




6. INSTALL CLOCK ASSEMBLY (W/ Navigation System)
a. Engage the 2 clips and install the clock assembly.

7. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (W/ Navigation System)
8. INSTALL NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (W/ Navigation System)
9. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (W/ Navigation System)
10. INSTALL MULTI-DISPLAY WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (W/ Navigation System)
11. INSTALL CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL
12. INSTALL NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
13. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX
14. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY
15. INSTALL FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
16. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
17. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
18. INSTALL CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)
19. INSTALL UPPER NO. 2 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission)
