Traction Control Switch: Service and Repair

TRACTION OFF SWITCH (for 2WD)

COMPONENTS:

REMOVAL
1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH
3. REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL LH
4. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT FINISH PANEL SUB ASSEMBLY





5. REMOVE TRACTION OFF SWITCH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the traction off switch from the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.

INSPECTION
1. INSPECT TRACTION OFF SWITCH
a. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table.

Standard Resistance:

If the value is not as specified, replace the traction off switch.

INSTALLATION





1. INSTALL TRACTION OFF SWITCH
a. Install the traction off switch into the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.
2. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT FINISH PANEL SUB ASSEMBLY
3. INSTALL SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL LH
4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH
5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
