REAR BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSECOMPONENTS:
REMOVAL
HINT:
^ Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
^ The procedures listed are for the LH side.
1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
3. REMOVE REAR BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE
a. Remove the brake tube with SST while holding the rear brake flexible hose with a wrench.

NOTICE:
^ Do not bend or damage the brake line.
^ Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the rear brake flexible hose from the connecting points.
b. Remove the clip.
c. Remove the union bolt, the rear brake flexible hose and gasket.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL REAR BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE
a. Connect the rear brake flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket.
Torque: 30 Nm (310 kgf-cm, 22 ft. lbs.)
NOTICE: Install the flexible hose lock securely in the lock hole in the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.
b. Connect the brake tube to rear brake flexible hose with SST while holding the rear brake flexible hose with a wrench.
SST 09023-00101
Torque: 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.)
NOTICE:
^ Do not bend or damage the brake line.
^ Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting points.
c. Install the flexible hose with a new clip.
NOTICE:
^ When installing the rear brake flexible hose, face the identification mark to the outside of the vehicle and minimize twisting of the hose.
^ Install the clip as far as it will go.
2. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID
3. BLEED BRAKE LINE
4. BLEED BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
5. INSPECT FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR
6. INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE
7. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.)
