Pinout Values and Diagnostic Parameters

TERMINALS OF ECU

Terminals Of Control Modules/Pinouts-Check Power Source Control ECU:




1. CHECK POWER SOURCE CONTROL ECU
a. Disconnect the K73 ECU connector.




b. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

c. Reconnect the K73 ECU connector.

d. Measure the voltage of the connector.
If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

e. Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform of the ECU.

Waveform 1 (Reference):

HINT: As vehicle speed increases, the wavelength shortens.

HINT: As the vehicle speed increases, the wavelength shortens.

Terminals Of Control Modules/Pinouts-Check Certification ECU:




2. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU
a. Disconnect the U28 and U33 ECU connectors.




b. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of Control Modules/Pinouts-Check ECM:




3. CHECK ECM
a. Disconnect the A6, E6, E7 and E8 ECM connectors.

b. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

c. Reconnect the A6, E6, E7 and E8 ECM connectors.




d. Measure the voltage of the connectors.
If the result is not as specified, the ECM may have a malfunction.

e. Using an oscilloscope, check the signal waveform of the ECM.

Terminals Of Control Modules/Pinouts-Check Steering Lock ECU:




4. CHECK STEERING LOCK ECU
a. Disconnect the K28 ECU connector.




b. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

c. Reconnect the K28 ECU connector.




d. Measure the voltage of the connector.
If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
