INTRODUCTION:
Please initialize each door's power window after installing the DCC fuse in its original location during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).
The installation of the DCC fuse will enable the "one-touch open and close" and "jam protection" functions of each door's power window.
NOTE:
Any time the battery terminal has been disconnected, initialize each door's Power Window after reconnecting the battery terminal.
APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2006 model year GS300 and GS430 vehicles.
INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE:
With ignition switch in the "ON" position, do the following:
1. If the power windows have not been initialized, the driver's door power window switch should be blinking.
2. Push the driver's door power window switch to open the window.
WARRANTY INFORMATION:
3. Pull up the driver's door power window switch until the window closes, and hold it for approximately one second. At this time, the driver's door power window switch illumination changes from blinking to constant illumination.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for each door's power window.
NOTE:
When the battery terminal has been disconnected, pull up each door's power window switch until the window closes, and hold it for approximately one second.
At this time, each door's power window switch illumination changes from blinking to constant illumination.
5. Check for proper operation of the "one-touch open and close" function by fully pushing the switch "DOWN" once and fully pulling the switch "UP" once.
