Introduction

In the event that the top mounting bracket that supports the headlamp assembly on the right or left side is damaged, the following service parts can be obtained to repair the top mounting bracket. This will eliminate the need to dispose of the complete headlamp assembly and also reduce the cost of the repair.

Applicable Vehicles
^ 2006 model year GS 300 and GS 430 vehicles.

Repair Procedure





1. Remove the front engine cover/duct seal to access the top of the headlamp.





2. After rough-cutting and removing the shaded portion, fit the service part to the bosses to install it, gradually grinding down uneven areas until the part fits properly.





3. Attach the service part with the two (2) enclosed screws.

4. Reinstall the front engine cover.
