REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER
3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 nuts and cover.

4. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH
6. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH
7. REMOVE NO.1 AIR CLEANER INLET
a. Remove the bolt and inlet.

8. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
10. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER
11. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER
12. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY
13. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY
14. DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE INLET
a. Disconnect the hose from the water inlet with thermostat and radiator tank upper.

15. DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET
a. Disconnect the hose from the water inlet and radiator tank lower.
16. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the harness from the cooling fan ECU.





b. Remove the 4 bolts and radiator.

NOTICE: Do not allow the cooler condenser and radiator to come into contact with each other.





c. Detach the 3 claws and remove the fan.
d. Remove the 2 radiator support cushions and 2 radiator lower supports from the radiator.

INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
a. Install the 2 radiator support cushions and 2 radiator lower supports to the radiator.





b. Install the fan to the radiator, and attach the 3 claws.





c. Align the radiator with the condenser. Then install the radiator.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.)

2. CONNECT RADIATOR HOSE INLET
a. Connect the hose to the water inlet with thermostat and radiator tank upper.

3. CONNECT RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET
a. Connect the hose to the water inlet and radiator tank lower.

4. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY
5. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY
6. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER
7. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER
8. ADD ENGINE COOLANT
9. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS
a. Check for engine coolant leaks.

10. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER
11. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
12. INSTALL NO.1 AIR CLEANER INLET
a. Install the inlet with the bolt.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.)

13. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Install the cover with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.)

14. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH
15. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH
16. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
17. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER
18. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
19. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTICE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
