MANUAL SHIFTING TEST1. PERFORM MANUAL SHIFTING TEST
HINT: By this test, it can be determined whether the trouble is within the electrical circuit or is a mechanical problem in the transmission.
a. Disconnect the transmission wire connector.
b. Inspect the manual driving operation.
1. Check that the shift lever and gear positions correspond to the table.
2. While driving, move the shift lever to L, 2, 3, 4 and D.
3. Check that the gear change corresponds to the shift lever position.
If the results are not as specified, the transmission may be malfunctioning.
HINT: If the gear positions are hard to distinguish when the shift lever is on L, 2, 3, 4 and D, perform the ROAD TEST
c. Connect the transmission wire connector.
d. Clear the DTCs
