Front Suspension Arm Sub-Assy Lower






FRONT SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER NO. 2
REPLACEMENT

HINT:
^ Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
^ The procedures listed are for the LH side.
^ A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.

1. REMOVE WHEEL HUB ORNAMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 10 bolts and ornament.
2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
a. Remove the 5 nuts and wheel.
3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER NO. 2





4. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER NO. 2 LH
a. Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the front suspension member brace rear.
b. Remove the 4 bolts and front suspension member brace.





c. Remove the bolt.





d. Remove the 2 bolts, nut, front suspension arm lower No. 2 LH and strut bar bracket.





5. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER NO. 2 LH
a. Install the front suspension arm lower No. 2 and strut bar bracket with the 2 bolts and nut.
Torque:
164 Nm (1,672 kgf-cm, 121 ft. lbs.) for bolt
152 Nm (1,550 kgf-cm, 112 ft. lbs.) for nut





b. Install the bolt.
Torque: 58 Nm (590 kgf-cm, 43 ft. lbs.)





c. Install the front suspension member brace with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 56 Nm (570 kgf-cm, 41 ft. lbs.)
d. Connect the front suspension member brace rear with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 58 Nm (590 kgf-cm, 43 ft. lbs.)
6. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
a. Install the wheel with the 5 nuts.
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.)
7. STABILIZE SUSPENSION
8. INSTALL WHEEL HUB ORNAMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Install the ornament with the 10 bolts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft. lbs.)
9. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
