INSPECTION

1. INSPECT UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY




a. Measure the resistance of the switch.




If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.

2. INSPECT TILT STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY W/MOTOR




a. Apply battery voltage to the telescopic motor connector and check the operation of the column.




If the result is not as specified, replace the tilt steering gear assembly.

3. INSPECT IGNITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY




a. Measure the resistance of the switch.




If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
