Navigation Module: Service and Repair






REPLACEMENT

HINT:
- The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order. However, only installation procedures requiring additional information are included.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH
5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH
6. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE TOOL BOX COVER
8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY REAR
9. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT
11. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY BRACKET FRONT
a. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and 2 brackets.




12. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU
a. Remove the bolt and 2 nuts.
b. Disconnect the 3 connectors and remove the ECU.




13. REMOVE DISC PLAYER BRACKET
a. Remove the 2 screws and bracket.




14. REMOVE DISC PLAYER BRACKET NO.2
a. Remove the 2 screws and bracket.

15. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
16. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
