Check Warning Lamp And Indicator Lamp

CHECK WARNING LAMP AND INDICATOR LAMP




a. Release the parking brake pedal.

NOTE: When releasing the parking brake, move the shift lever into the P position to hold the vehicle for safety.

b. When the ignition switch is turned ON, check that the ABS warning lamp, BRAKE warning lamp, VSC warning lamp, VSC OFF indicator lamp, and SLIP indicator lamp turn off in approximately 3 seconds.

HINT:
- When the parking brake is applied or the level of the brake fluid is low, the BRAKE warning lamp illuminates.
- If the ECU stores DTC, the ABS warning lamp, VSC warning lamp and VSC OFF indicator lamp illuminate.
- When depressing the brake pedal repeatedly, it may turn on the BRAKE warning lamp and buzzer.
