DESCRIPTION




a. ABS with EBD & BA & TRAC & VSC system data can be read in the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3.of the vehicle.When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the hand-held tester to check for malfunctions and perform repairs.
b. If the skid control ECU detects a malfunction, the ABS, Brake, VSC warning lamp and VSC OFF indicator will turn on to warn the driver. The table indicates which lamps turn on when there is a malfunction in a particular function.
c. DTCs can be read by connecting the hand-held tester to the DLC3, or connecting SST between terminals 13 (TC) and 4 (CG) of the DLC3.

d. Several DTCs can be stored in memory at one time.
e. This system has a sensor signal check function (TEST MODE).
