INSPECTION

1. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY




a. Measure the resistance of the door lock.




If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock assembly.

b. Inspect the luggage compartment door lock motor with a malfunctioning part detected by the active test.

1. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to body ground, and check that the luggage compartment door lock motor is moving.

If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock assembly.

2. INSPECT LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY (OPENER SWITCH)




a. Measure the resistance of the switch.




If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.

3. INSPECT LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY (MAIN SWITCH)




a. Measure the resistance of the switch.




If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.
