Compressor/Pump: Service and Repair

HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY
REPLACEMENT
1. REMOVE FRONT WHEELS
2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH
3. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL DRYER ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Disconnect the air tube.





c. Remove the 3 bolts, nut and height control compressor assembly and height control dryer assembly.





d. Remove the bolt and height control dryer assembly.
e. Remove the O-ring.





4. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 3 bolts, bushing and bracket from height control compressor assembly.





5. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY
a. Install the bracket and bushing with 3 bolts to height control compressor assembly.
Torque: 5.9 Nm (60 kgf-cm, 52 inch lbs.)
6. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL DRYER ASSEMBLY
a. Coat the O-ring with MP grease and install it to height control dryer assembly.





b. Install the height control dryer assembly with a bolt.
Torque: 6.4 Nm (65 kgf-cm, 56 inch lbs.)





c. Install the height control compressor assembly and height control dryer assembly with 3 bolts and nut.
Torque: 19 Nm (195 kgf-cm, 14 ft. lbs.)
d. Connect the air tube.
e. Connect the connector.
7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH
8. INSTALL FRONT WHEELS
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.)
9. INSPECT AIR LEAK
