INTRODUCTION:
Some 2004 and 2005 model year LS 430 may experience a condition where one or both outer rear view mirrors extend past the original stop position when returning from the folded position prior to driving. This TSB provides information for replacement mirrors with improved detent stopping positions. Follow the replacement procedures listed below.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2005 - 2005 model year LS430 vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VIN shown below.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

Verify condition by folding and extending the mirrors and observing stop location.

Replace affected outer rear view mirror assembly/assemblies with the procedures referenced below:
