Introduction
Some 2004 and 2005 model year LS 430 vehicles may experience a condition where one or both outer rear view mirrors extend past the original stop position when returning from the folded position prior to driving. This TSIB provides information for replacement mirrors with improved detent stopping positions. Follow the replacement procedures listed below.

Repair Procedure
1. Verify the condition by folding and extending the mirrors and observing the stop location.
2. Replace the affected outer rear view mirror assembly/assemblies with the procedures referenced below.

Warranty Information
Applicable Warranty**:
This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
