Removal and Replacement

Quarter Window Assy RH:

REPLACEMENT




1. REMOVE MOVE ROOF PANEL TO HALF
a. Referring to the manual operation procedures, move the roof panel to half.

2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER

4. REMOVE WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY




8. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the door scuff plate assembly RH.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.




9. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT RH
a. Using a screwdriver, release the 4 claws and remove the front seat outer belt garnish.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.




b. Remove the 6 screws and clip.
c. Disengage the 4 clips, then remove the quarter trim panel RH.




10. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR UPPER END WEATHERSTRIP RH
a. Using a clip remover, disengage the 4 clips.
b. Remove the center pillar upper end weatherstrip RH.




11. REMOVE QUARTER BELT MOULDING RH
a. Using a moulding remover, remove the quarter belt moulding RH.




12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
a. Using a clip remover, disengage the 3 clips.
b. Remove the front part of luggage compartment door weatherstrip.

13. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY RH




14. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY RH
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the connector and grommet.
c. Remove the 2 bolts and 4 nuts.
d. Remove the quarter window assembly RH.




15. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW STOP
a. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 upper front door window stop.




16. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH
a. Remove the 2 screws and power window regulator motor RH.




17. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY RH
a. As shown in the illustration, mark the 3 nuts position on the quarter window assembly.




b. Remove the 3 nuts and quarter window assembly RH.




18. INSTALL QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY RH
a. Install the glass and 3 nuts so that the nut is in marked position.






HINT: When replacing the bracket with a new one, mark the bracket position on the panel assembly side.

19. INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)

20. INSTALL QUARTER WINDOW STOP

Torque: 13 N.m (133 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf)

21. INSTALL QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY RH

Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)

22. ADJUST QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY RH
23. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY

Torque:
Bolt: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
Nut: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)

24. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)

25. INSTALL WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY

Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)

27. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY

Torque:
Bolt: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
Nut: 7.0 N.m (71 kgf.cm, 63 in.lbf)
