REPLACEMENT

HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSY FRONT LH

1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL




2. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSY FRONT LH
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the nut and disconnect the height control sensor link.
c. Remove the 2 bolts and height control sensor sub-assy front LH.

3. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSY FRONT LH
a. Install the height control sensor sub-assy front LH with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 7.8 N.m (80 kgf cm, 69 in.lbf)

b. Install the nut.

Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)

c. Connect the connector.

4. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL




5. ADJUST HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSY FRONT LH
a. Adjust the front height control sensor link.
1. Loosen the lock nut of the height control sensor link.
2. While the vehicle is unloaded, adjust the length of the height control sensor's arm by rotating the link so that the arm is set in the normal position.




3. Check that the length of the threaded part, dimension (A) in the illustration, is shorter than the standard value.

Standard: 14 mm (0.55 in.)

4. Tighten the look nut of the height control sensor link.

Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)

6. HEADLIGHT AIM ONLY

HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSY REAR LH




1. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSY REAR LH
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Place matchmarks on the link and bracket.
c. Remove the nut and disconnect the height control sensor link.




d. Remove the 2 bolts and height control sensor sub-assy rear LH.

2. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSY REAR LH
a. Install the height control sensor sub-assy rear LH with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 7.8 N.m (80 kgf.cm, 69 in.lbf)

b. Align the matchmarks on the height control sensor link and bracket.
c. Install the nut.

Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)

d. Connect the connector.
