Rear

REPLACEMENT

HINT:
^ Replace the RH side by the same procedures with the LH side.

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
a. Remove the 10 bolts and ornament.
b. Remove the 5 nuts and rear wheel.





2. SEPARATE DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSY REAR LH
a. Remove the 2 bolts and remove the brake cylinder from the axle carrier.
b. Support the brake caliper securely.
3. REMOVE REAR DISC





4. REMOVE REAR AXLE LH HUB BOLT
a. Using SST and a screwdriver or an equivalent to hold, remove the hub bolt.
SST 09628-10011





5. INSTALL REAR AXLE LH HUB BOLT
a. Install a washer and nut to the bolt, as shown in the illustration.
b. Using a brass bar or an equivalent to hold, turn the wheel nut to pull the hub bolt until the underside of the hub bolt head touches the axle hub.
6. INSTALL REAR DISC
7. INSTALL DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSY REAR LH
a. Install the brake cylinder and 2 bolts to the axle carrier.
Torque: 104 Nm (1,065 kgf-cm, 77 ft. lbs.)
8. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
a. Install the rear wheel with the 5 bolts.
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.)
b. Install the ornament with the 10 bolts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft. lbs.)
