Manual Open Operation
MANUAL OPEN OPERATION1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
a. Pull up the front portion of the seat cushion assembly, then remove it.
NOTE: In the case, hold the base of the clip up to prevent the cushion frame from being distorted.
2. REMOVE WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 4 bolts and wind deflector board assembly.
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear seat headrest plate cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Use the same manner described above to the other side.
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the rear seat headrest plate.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Use the same manner described above to the other side.
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 nuts and rear seat headrest assembly.
b. Use the same manner described above to the other side.
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and rear seat back assembly.
7. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH
a. Using a screwdriver, remove the door scuff plate assembly RH as shown in the illustration.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
8. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT RH
a. Using a screwdriver, release the 4 claws and remove the front seat outer belt garnish.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
b. Remove the 6 screws and clip.
c. Disengage the 4 clips, then remove the quarter trim panel RH.
9. MANUALLY OPEN QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY RH
a. Remove the connector of the power window regulator motor RH.
b. Connecting the battery positive terminal to terminal 2 of the connector, and the negative one to terminal 1, raise the quarter window assembly.
HINT: For the LH side, connect the battery positive terminal to terminal 1 and the negative one to terminal 2.
10. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT RH
11. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH
12. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY
Torque:
Bolt: 18 N.m (184 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
Nut: 7.0 N.m (71 kgf.cm, 63 in.lbf)
