1. Check the continuity between each terminal of the connector when the switch is operated.

b. Illumination Check:
1. Check the switch illumination (light emitting diode) comes on when the battery positive is connected to terminal 8 of the connector and the battery negative is connected to terminal 4.

INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

a. Continuity check of the power window switch:
1. Check the continuity of each terminal of the connector, when each switch is operated.

HINT:
- Mark "<=>" means that continuity exists
- Mark "->" means that approximately 4 kOhm diode exists.

Standard:

b. Continuity check of the door control switch:
1. Check the continuity of each terminal of the connector, when each switch is operated.

Standard:

c. Window lock switch and illumination check:
1. With the window lock switch NORMAL, connect the battery positive to terminal 6 and the battery negative to terminal 10 of the connector. Then, check that each illumination of the switches (light emitting diode) comes on and that there is the battery voltage in terminal 7.
2. With the window lock switch LOCK, check that the illuminations of the driver's switch and door control switch only come on and that the voltage of terminal 7 is 0 V.
