6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSY NO.1 [55402D / 98-75]
7. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH REAR [58832A / 98-82]
8. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSY UPPER [58804A / 98-82]
9. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONER CONTROL ASSY
10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSY LOWER CENTER [55406F / 98-82]
11. SHIP MODE CONFIRMATION
12. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSY NO.2 [55607 / 98-75]
13. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSY [55550 / 98-75]
14. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET [58815A / 98-82]
15. REMOVE BOX PANEL NO.3 [58913A / 98-82]
16. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSY
17. REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR RECEIVER ASSY [89760C / 98-142]
18. REMOVE AIR BAG SENSOR ASSY CENTER [89170 / 98-140]
a. Remove the 3 clamps from the airbag sensor assy center.
b. Disconnect the 3 connectors from the airbag sensor assy center.
c. Remove the 3 bolts and airbag sensor assy center.
19. INSTALL AIR BAG SENSOR ASSY CENTER [89170 / 98-140]
a. Check that the ignition switch turn OFF.
b. Check that the battery negative terminal is disconnected.
NOTE: Do not start the operation for 90 seconds after removing the terminal.
c. Temporarily install the airbag sensor assy center with the 3 bolts.
d. Tighten the 3 bolts to the specified torque.
Torque: 20 N.m (200 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf)
e. Connect the connector to the airbag sensor assy center.
f. Install the 3 clamps to the airbag sensor assy center.
g. Check that no play is identified.
h. Check that the water-proof sheet is properly set.

21. INSTALL TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR RECEIVER ASSY [89760C / 98-142]
22. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
