Pinout Values and Diagnostic Parameters
TERMINALS OF ECU1. CHECK DRIVER SIDE J/B (DRIVER SIDE J/B ECU)
a. Disconnect the J/B connectors D4 and 2G.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
2. CHECK PASSENGER SIDE J/B (PASSENGER SIDE J/B ECU)
a. Disconnect the J/B connectors 3E, 3G and P4.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
3. CHECK LUGGAGE ROOM J/B ( LUGGAGE ROOM J/B ECU)
a. Disconnect the J/B connectors 6F, GJ and L24.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
4. CHECK DRIVER DOOR ECU
a. Disconnect the ECU connector D19.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
5. CHECK PASSENGER DOOR ECU
a. Disconnect the ECU connector P11.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
6. CHECK TIRE PRESSURE CONTROL ECU
a. Disconnect the ECU connector T9.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
7. CHECK THEFT WARNING ECU
a. Disconnect the ECU connector T7.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
8. CHECK TRANSPONDER KEY ECU (IMMOBILIZER ECU)
a. Disconnect the ECU connector T13.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
9. CHECK COMBINATION SWITCH
a. Disconnect the ECU connector C11.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
10. CHECK FRONT LIGHT CONTROL ECU
a. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
NOTE: Inspection should be started from the backside of the relay block with the front light ECU connector being connected.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
11. CHECK STEERING PAD SWITCH
a. Disconnect the ECU connector.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
12. CHECK TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU
a. Disconnect the ECU connectors T8.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
13. CHECK COMBINATION METER
a. Disconnect the ECU connectors C8 and C9.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
14. CHECK SKID CONTROL ECU
a. Disconnect the ECU connectors S5, S6, S7 and S8.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
15. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER
a. Disconnect the ECU connector A10.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
16. CHECK ECM
a. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
NOTE:
- Inspection should be started from the backside of the ECM with the ECM connector being connected.
- Inspect the power source voltage and the body ground before the operation inspection.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
17. CHECK AIRBAG ECU
18. CHECK GATEWAY ECU
a. Disconnect the ECU connector.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
19. CHECK METAL TOP ECU
a. Disconnect the ECU connectors S18 and S19.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
20. CHECK DRIVER SEAT ECU
a. Disconnect the ECU connectors P21 and P22.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
21. CHECK PASSENGER SEAT ECU
a. Disconnect the ECU connectors P23 and P24.
b. Check the voltage and continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connectors.
HINT: If the value is not as specified the vehicle's side may be defective. In this case, inspect the harness connector and fuse between the ECU and battery, then repair or replace it if necessary.
